      • This is to inform all Aircel Prepaid Telecom subscribers of Assam service area that w.e.f 10th September 2014 there will not be any recharge condition for extension of SIM validity. The SIM validity will be extended automatically before the lapse of existing validity, by 90 days or date till which prepaid services has been permitted by DoT (presently 31.3.2017), whichever is earlier.
        Further, please note that as per TRAI regulations, if there is no usage for a continuous period of 90 days, Rs. 20 would be deducted from subscriber’s account and extension of 30 days would be allowed and this cycle would be repeated till either subscriber uses the connection or his account goes below Rs. 20. In case account balance goes below Rs. 20 and subscriber remains a non-user, the connection would be put in grace period of 15 days after deducting remaining balance and no outgoing or incoming would be available. In this case, subscriber can come back to network by recharging the connection with any amount.
        Notwithstanding anything, the Regulations of TRAI and/or DoT’s guidelines as issued from time to time, will supersede these conditions.
