I received the WAP link for Aircel 3G Popkorn application in an SMS. Now, how do I download the application?

Just click the link in the SMS. It will download the application through your GPRS connection.
You can use Aircel GPRS for the same.
Please make sure that, the following APNs are set for its mobile browser or in internet settings of the device.
I am trying to download the application but it says 'Packet Data Not available', 'Unable to connect' or 'Connection Error'

There can be 2 reasons for it:

The Aircel Pocket Internet or Aircel GPRS service may not be active. Please contact us at 121 to get it activated.
The packet network may be down. Please try again in a little while.
I am trying to download the application but the link does not work.

This may happen due to the heavy traffic in the network in your area. Please try downloading the application from a different location where the GPRS connection is good. Or you may be using a different APN setting.
How would I know if the GPRS Connection is established or not?

Typically you will see a "=", "G", "3G" or a "3.5G" symbol on the right hand corner of your screen. You will see a consistent signal once a GPRS connection is established; otherwise the signal will be blinking.
I lost the GPRS link while I was downloading the Aircel 3G Popkorn client. What should I do?

Please try again after some time. Please stay on your network circle while downloading the application.
I am trying to download the application but it says that the server is down.

Please try it again after some time. This happens sometimes because of network congestion. It may take up to 20-30 minutes.
I am trying to download the application on my Android/Symbian phone, but it fails.
Troubleshoot with the following:
Check whether the phone date and time are correct.
For Android, please change the following settings:
- Main Menu ->Settings ->Applications ->Unknown Sources ->Enable
I am trying to download the application but it says – 'We are unable to retrieve or identify you in the system, please call 121 or write into aircelpopkorn.support@apalya.com, to report the issue.'

If you are new to Aircel, your details might not have been updated on the Aircel database. This usually takes 12 hrs to update on the DB. Please try after that time. If the problem still persists, please contact us at aircelpopkorn.support@apalya.com .
I accidentally installed the application to my phone memory, how do I move it to my MMC?

Just re-install. It will ask you to install in phone memory or MMC. Choose MMC and it will replace Aircel 3G Popkorn from phone memory to MMC.
The application downloads and I installed the app, but when I click on the Aircel 3G Popkorn link, it does not open/nothing happens. The Aircel 3G Popkorn link just blinks.

Please restart your mobile and try again.
When trying to install the Aircel 3G Popkorn Application, it says, "Not enough memory". What should I do?

Please delete some images or other data from your MMC Card and reinstall the application. Aircel 3G Popkorn requires a minimum of 2MB free space to install and work.
I got a message asking me to reinstall the application, but when I try to reinstall, I get a message XXXXXX?

Some Aircel 3G Popkorn application files have been deleted from your device. Please download and re-install the application.
I have installed the application but it downloaded and is giving some junk data.

Aircel 3G Popkorn may not be supported on your device. Please check the supported devices list and confirm. If the device is supported, then please contact us at aircelpopkorn.support@apalya.com.
I have installed the Application and the website says that my phone model is supported, but the application is still not opening after installation.

Please reinstall the application once again and try to invoke the application. If you continue to face the problem, please call customer care at 121.
I’m trying to install the application and it says, "Unable to install".

Please check whether the proper date and time are set on the device. Or check in the Application Manager or Setting,
Nokia Device- Software Installation to be set as 'All' and Online Certificate Check to be set as 'Off'.
Android Devices – Menu ->Setting ->Applications->Unknown sources-> Enable.
How do I register for Aircel 3G Popkorn?

If you are not registered, clicking on a channel will prompt you with a list of packages. You can also go to the ‘My Account’ menu, check for available packages and subscribe to a package of your choice.
What do I need to have to view Aircel 3G Popkorn?

Your device must support Aircel 3G Popkorn. Download and register Aircel 3G Popkorn to view its features. Devices that are not supported can have a WAP version for the same.
What plan do I need to have to be able to use Aircel 3G Popkorn?

Following packages are available:

  Monthly
  Weekly
  Daily

All the packages are subject to renewals, if you don’t unsubscribe from the package.
I have a prepaid connection. Can I activate Aircel 3G Popkorn?

Yes, you can activate Aircel 3G Popkorn provided you have enough balance to register.
In case of prepaid can I activate the monthly plan?

The monthly plan can be activated for prepaid customers also but you can register for it only if you have enough balance to access it.
How do I unsubscribe from a particular package?

Open the App -> Go to My Account -> Go to Subscribed Packages -> Select a package and Unsubscribe.
Email to aircelpopkorn.support@apalya.com to unsubscribe the package you want to along with Mobile Number and Package that you want to unsubscribe.
What are the access points I need to choose, to install and use Aircel 3G Popkorn?

  To download the client – Aircel WAP (Pocket Internet) or AIRCELGPRS/AircelGPRS.PR/AIRCELGPRS.PO/AIRCELWEB/AIRCELWEBPOST.
  Client access – AIRCELGPRS/AircelGPRS.PR/AIRCELGPRS.PO/AIRCELWEB/AIRCELWEBPOST. (this APN is pre-burnt with the application)

I do not see an access point when I am using Aircel 3G Popkorn, do I need to set the access point?

When you download Aircel 3G Popkorn, the access point is set by default.
The client is installed on my device, but doesn’t open.

Try restarting the device and check once again.
I have restarted the device, but still the same problem persists.

Please call the Aircel Customer care 121 to check on the issue.
How much memory do I need to have to install and run the Aircel 3G Popkorn Application?

To install and run Aircel 3G Popkorn you must have a minimum of 2 MB of free memory.
I am not able to attend telephone calls while watching Aircel 3G Popkorn programs.

This is a general issue that can usually happen when PDP session is active.
How do I increase or decrease the volume while watching a program?

You can use the volume keys of the phone.
I have increased the phone volume to max, but I still can’t hear anything.

Check whether the phone is on silent mode. If not, please report the issue at aircelpopkorn.support@apalya.com.
How do I handle a telephone call while watching a video?

Aircel 3G Popkorn handles it and you can attend or discard the call.
If a SMS/MMS is received in the middle of a program then how do I handle it?

If an SMS is received while you are watching a program an icon is displayed at the top right corner of the screen.
Will I be able to hear alarms while watching the clip?

Yes, the clip will be automatically paused when alarms occur and after snoozing it you can watch the program from the paused state.
Can I send Aircel 3G Popkorn to my friend via Bluetooth?

No, currently Aircel 3G Popkorn does not support Bluetooth download.
The clip was playing smoothly but suddenly Aircel 3G Popkorn logged off.

Following can be the reasons.
Signal is weak.
Battery failed
I'm accessing the WAP version of Aircel 3G Popkorn, but not able to view the channels.

Please check if the device has separate settings for Internet and Streaming. If yes, then make sure both settings are set to Aircel GPRS or Aircel Data.
I am able to watch the channels, but there is lot of pixelation.

This can occur at low network bandwidths. You need a minimum of 256 kbps bandwidth, to play the high bit-rate feed smoothly.
I am able to watch the channels, but there is lot of buffering.

This can occur at low network bandwidths. Please try using the low bit-rate feed.
The low bit-rate feed is not clear and smooth.

This is a restriction as the feed is only 50 kbps. You cannot get better quality at that rate.
How do I personalise my Aircel 3G Popkorn?

You can set your favourite channel or program under the ‘Favourite’ menu. You can also check for your subscribed packages under the 'My Account' menu.
Can I save the video which I am viewing?

No, you cannot save any video on to your device.
