Aircel Karnataka trade partners join hands to 'Save Our Tigers'
Bangalore, November 11, 2014: Building on its commitment towards the cause of tiger conservation in India, Aircel organized a three day field visit for its trade partners in Karnataka to Bandipur National Park and Tiger reserve. With an aim to raise awareness amongst the trade community on the importance and significance of tiger conservation, trade partners from across Karnataka circle were taken to Bandipur Tiger Reserve to be a part of nature, to understand the intricacies and the efforts that go into Tiger conservation and to also witness wild animals in their natural habitat.
The three day field visit included numerous safaris into the tiger reserve, showing of a wildlife movie - "Wild Dogs Diaries", a fun-filled quiz competition on tigers with questions ranging from 'How much does a tiger weigh', 'Do tigers like to go in water' to 'What is Aircel's tiger campaign known as', and finally a wildlife mobile photography competition for the trade partners.
The trade partners also got the unique opportunity to interact with an official from the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) and through them got to learn about the conservation efforts in Bandipur and the role the Tiger plays in ensuring a healthy ecosystem and why it was important to save this magnificent beast.

Madhu SM, a trade partner from SMM Enterprises, Bangalore and a winner of the wildlife mobile photography contest, said, "This trip has been fantastic. This trip has been very fulfilling, something different and wonderful and I hope to be a part of many more such educative yet enjoyable trips".
