Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is a store and forward messaging service that allows mobile subscriber to exchange multimedia messages with other mobile subscriber. With this facility now start sending picture (images), audio & video clips with MMS. What’s more you want just get it registered...
To register :
- Just send SMS ' MMS < First 3 alphabets of Phone-Name> < Phone-model No. > ' to 57777 for MMS activation and receive OTA settings E.g. MMS NOK 6600
- After sending the above SMS, you will receive the following SMS as confirmation " Thank you for your request. Your request is being processed and the MMS settings will be sent within 24 hrs "
- You will receive the following confirmation message once the OTA setting is pushed " Settings pushed successfully. Thank you for activating this service "
- If you have not received the OTA settings even after 24 hrs, pl call
98410 56789 or 98410 12345
Note :
- MMS is available within Chennai & ROTN circles only.
- MMS can be sent and received only by Aircel subscribers.
- The size of the MMS should not exceed 300 KB.
Details of charges :
- SMS sent to 57777 will be charged at Rs.3 /SMS.
- MMS charges at Rs.5/MMS
